What can I say? The feeling I had upon entering this LFS simply wow’d me! Parts of the store are the same while the other half have transformed. Visiting Underwater Wonders is like going to a public aquarium. And they are not done. Their expansion plans include replacing the few older tanks against the back wall and adding a quarantine facility next door. It has been a year since I have been here and what a difference a year makes.
They added a ten-foot marine tank on the far-left wall, converted the far side eight-foot tank in the center of the store to a freshwater planted tank, have several new tanks scaped and ready plus added a few more frag tanks. The thing which wow’d me is the diversity of fish and corals along with the clean look. This LFS is giving Aquatic Arts a run for the title of best Saltwater LFS in Colorado. For a totally impressive experience, visit their store Tuesday thru Friday 9-5. I cannot say I have had a more enjoyable experience visiting a LFS in years. The best part was the surprise of what I found - a clean, well-stocked, LFS with amazing display tanks.
