The next Lakewood LFS to feature is Pet World. Again, this is purely an update as I have covered this store before. The specific blogs will be linked at the bottom of this blog. What makes Pet World unique is not only its hometown feel, but its wide selection of aquatic pet, mammal, and bird supplies. There are similar stores in other cities, but this is the only store of its type in the Denver Metro. Pet World does not carry reptiles, amphibians, or invertebrates. Please read my previous blogs for a deeper dive into both the store and the fish section. The photos below are an overview this time, just to show the extent of their offerings.
While this would not be my first choice for fish, they do a good job with the basics and appeal to the average pet keeper. If you’re in the area it is fun to drop in and see what they have to offer. No other store I have seen in Colorado has as good a selection of ceramic aquarium decor.
