Neptune's Closing It's Doors

Updated: Dec 12

"🚨 Important Announcement from Neptune's 🚨

After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close the doors of Neptune's. It’s been an incredible journey, and we want to extend a huge THANK YOU to all our loyal customers for your support over the years. 💙

BUT… this isn’t goodbye! We've partnered with MC Aquatics, who will be taking over our stock and selling it at their store. 🐠✨ If you’ve loved shopping with us, you’ll find the same great products, now available at MC Aquatics — with even more exciting sales and deals coming your way! 🎉

Thank you again for being part of the Neptune's family. We hope to see you at MC Aquatics soon! 💧" I am shocked and saddened to hear this news. Perhaps you are too, though should we really be surprised? With real estate prices and the economy, specifically online sales, the brick and mortar stores are slowly going away as owners retire. We have at least 3 other LFS in the Denver Metro with owners looking to retire. We will just have to see how things play out. I wish the LFS owners and staff all the best!!

Neptune’s Tropical Fish is located at 1970 E. County Line Rd., Unit A, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126. Their hours are Monday-Saturday 10-5, closed on Sunday. Neptune’s is a complete all around local fish store. The only fish they do not carry are goldfish or monster fish. If you have been here you know they are a top tier fish store, one of the best in the state. What you may not know is Sharron, has retired and sold the store to Debbie and two employees who are now co-owners.

The other big news is they are moving to a new location by the end of the year. The place they are looking at is just down the way at the other end of the complex across from Chili’s Restaurant. From my pics of the store below you can see they are in the process of downsizing and getting ready to move. The plan is to maintain the same awesome selection and service, though the new place is a bit smaller. The logistics of the move have not been settled yet so things are subject to change. I for one will be cheering them along; this is a big step. With the proper amount of help, things can be even better than ever at the new location. Stop by and give them your support.
