Yes, they have added freshwater fish in the extra room to the right after the checkout desk. When I was there, they were unboxing a shipment of fish, so I did not get to see the tanks full of fish. I’m assured they will be adding even more freshwater in the near future.
If you haven’t heard Murrman’s was bought out by MC Aquatics and is officially MC Aquatics Denver, though I think they are going to keep the Murrman’s sign up for now. I’m not sure of the details, but I do know the online auctions Murrman’s is famous for will continue and can be accessed through whatnot.com.

The basic store is mostly the same, except for a new fridge and freezer located up front as you come in. The freshwater room only has two systems setup so far with more on the way to fill up the room. I’m sure the selection will be good once it all gets set up. The mainstream fish will lead the way, like Bettas, Angelfish, livebearers, and such. In this transition period it will be hit or miss on both the saltwater and freshwater livestock. If you are looking for something specific, just call and ask them to order it for you. They also do installations and maintenance of both saltwater and freshwater systems. If I lived in the area, I would not hesitate to buy fish here, though I might wait a few more weeks to give them time to get things squared away. Your Local Fish Store (LFS) will always be the place to go for the best aquaria. The big box stores fill a niche, but for me at least, I will avoid them when at all possible. The pics below will give you some idea of how things look for now at the New MC Aquatics store, formerly Murrman’s Reef.
