MC Aquatics, Englewood has finally gotten their large ~1000 gallon aquarium planted and set up. They are battling a BGA issue in the tank, and I expect that will be taken care of in short order. It is just a matter of time. Speaking of time, the tank sat empty for over a year and to see it all scaped out is rewarding. They now have their Mbu Puffer in the tank and it looks great! More pics below.
The other thing which impressed me on this visit is the many sale tables around the product room. They have deals on certain fish also. The aquatic plant tank is looking good as are the display tanks. Even the Saltwater room has come together nicely with all the tanks set up and the display tanks looking stellar. Many of the LFS’s are low on stock now as they have to do yearend inventory. Another reason for all the sales going on.
Still no word on how the Pueblo store is coming along other than they are working on it. Suffice it to say I will get a blog out about that as soon as I can. If you know of any LFS developments around the state, please send me a message. We can stay informed together.
