As I fully expected, after covering every LFS in Colorado, I have run out of new stores to write about. Although, I continue to monitor the aquarium scene around our glorious state. The next area to review is northern Colorado, which I will post about as soon as I can. There are 5 stores I will be covering from Greeley to Ft. Collins, and Firestone. After this I plan on going up to Craig and over to Grand Junction, probably some time in June.
I can use your help if you know of any big changes at a LFS in Colorado. On the southeast side of Denver Metro there are two LFS which have monster display tanks in the process of being set up, so when those are done, I will be featuring those stores once again. While my blog posts are becoming fewer and further between, one thing I will make sure to maintain is the list of every LFS in Colorado.
The aquarium hobby has been one which fills my life with Joy and has been doing so since I arrived here in this world. We all have fond memories as a child and the ones which remain strongest for me are of public aquariums. When you get the chance to support these facilities, please do. They bring joy to so many. If you look online there is a list of every public aquarium in the USA. I have been to most of them. There are still a few on my bucket list, so maybe if and when I make it to those I will do a feature on them here. In the Denver area we have several worth visiting, SeaQuest in Littleton, Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster has a small ocean exhibit, The Denver Zoo’s Tropical Discovery, and The Downtown Aquarium which is the biggest.
Thanks to all my readers! If you have suggestions for topics, please let me know. I will leave comments open. Till next time…
