Liquid Kingdom continues to impress me with their place in the saltwater aquaria community. The consistency and dedication to their customers, sums up retail as it should be. It turns out they have been in business for 25 years, and have established a loyal and supportive customer base. They are located at 6470 W 120th Ave D5, Broomfield, CO 80020. Their hours are Thursday & Friday 12-7, Saturday 12-6, Sunday 12-5, Monday 12-6, and closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Sometimes they close for holidays, vacation and sick days, so sign up to follow them on social media. As a family run store, this place has a comfortable lived-in feel. Some of the tanks could use a cleaning (I came on tank cleaning day), and not all of them had livestock. They are a saltwater only store, so they have everything a salty could need. This is one of the few front range stores centered around saltwater fish which remains, and it sure is refreshing to enjoy a wide range of beautiful fish! Mind you, they have beautiful corals too and in fact they just set up a new tank dedicated to corals. So, now this aspect is better then ever. Almost all the tanks have loads of live rock and the few display tanks look like a slice of the ocean!
I like how they use seashells to aquascape with. Tom and Deborah, the owners (father and daughter), are so friendly I will probably return regardless of not having a saltwater tank. I ended up chatting for a long time with Deborah and so did a new customer with Tom who takes great care to inform and assist each of their clients. From my previous visits I know anything you don’t see in the store like big tanks or lighting can be ordered and received rather quickly. So while they don’t have big tanks sitting around taking up space they can get most anything you desire, just ASK! The pictures below can give you a feel of this store better than I can.
