The Fish Reef at 12201 E Arapahoe Rd suite a-4, Centennial, CO 80112, is temporarily closing its retail operation. For my previous review of the store with loads of pictures, click here. Josh is an upstanding entrepreneur, and I am sad to see him struggling. We all know the economy has been challenging these past few years, so it does not surprise me another LFS closes (temporarily or not). I expect others to do the same in the coming months. It seems the market here on the east side of the Denver Metro has been saturated. We have had two LFS close their doors in the past 3 years and now another. Ray’s Aquatics recently opened, and MC Aquatics is poised to open in December. Aquatic Dog is also likely to make big changes in the coming year, so we will just have to wait and see how it all plays out.
