The King of Aquariums, Luke Johnson, now owns Exotic Aquatics making this his second locally owned LFS. The stores will be retaining the same names and locations, though Luke does plan on upgrading the Exotic Aquatics store to make it the best LFS in Boulder. I wish him all the best on this journey. It will not happen overnight, but I suspect by the fall the store will be top notch once again. By purchasing this store Luke is continuing a legacy of 43 years Exotic Aquatics has been in Boulder. Both stores will remain open for business through the transition, so I invite you drop by and give them your support.
