Exotic Aquatics has changed hands again. Zane Tsuchiya, the new owner, seems super excited to get the store completed. Luke has done wonders with it so far and I am sure Zane will do a great job as well. About half of the original tanks have been removed and the remaining tanks have been cleaned up and are looking most respectable. They have 4 tanks which Zane is willing to give away, all you have to do is come by and pick them up, see pics below, last 3 in gallery. The tanks are quite dirty, though he says they hold water, 70 gallons to be exact. I would call first to make sure they are still available.
The store has tremendous potential and I look forward to watching it evolve. Upon entering the store, one cannot miss the stunning saltwater display tank to the right. That corner will be strictly saltwater, while the back of the right side will be freshwater fish. The left side is mainly supplies, though there are two awesome tanks there, one for frags, which is looking good and one as a monster fish display. Zane has not made up his mind yet what to do with this beast of a tank. I am sure he will entertain any suggestions his customers have to offer. The old tanks in the back of the left side are just waiting to be hauled off.
While I was shocked Luke got called to duty and sold the store, I am impressed with Zane and feel like the store is in good hands. Only time will tell. I wish him all the best! Drop by next time you have a chance and support your local fish store!
