CO Springs LFS Revisited

ReefKoi has not changed much, and this is a good thing. If you read my previous review, you will know why. I did not take many pictures this time since I did a thorough job last time. My review here will be brief because they remain the best saltwater LFS south of the Metro Denver area! I actually picked up some fish and inverts on this visit. Great prices! If you are into saltwater fish, corals, inverts or need supplies ReefKoi has you covered.

Let’s move on to Seascapes. This store was largely the same also, although the display tanks this time were looking especially good and the tanks in back were well stocked. Again, they have a good selection of dry goods and supplies, even though the store is not all that big. The store is run by an older couple, and I must say it is sad to see the husband sitting at the desk while his wife struggles to handle 3 different customers in the back. I don’t know what that is about, but it is off putting. I just don’t feel welcome in this store, and this has not changed since I first visited 3 or 4 years ago. This is why I don’t recommend the store more highly. It is a very nice LFS with healthy fish and a decent selection. The display tanks up front look great and as does the layout of the storefront. I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit this LFS, but if it is convenient, check them out.
