Aquatic Art is located in Highlands Ranch, CO 80129. It is a bit hard to find the first time, at least it was for me. Go south on 85 off I470 to W. Town Center Dr. then turn rt onto Commerce Center St. and go to the end and turn rt it is down on the right. The warehouse location can be misleading to some. Once you know where it is you’ll want to return time and again. They are the Best Saltwater Only LFS in the Denver Metro and perhaps the state.
This visit finds the place well-groomed and well-staffed as usual. I am so impressed with the entire operation here. The corals look amazing as the mainstay of the store. They are central to the layout with impressive display tanks to the left in the front. On the right side of the store are the RO and Saltwater Tanks along with some lights and conditioned live rock. To the left in the back half of the store they have supplies and equipment. See below for photos of the entire store. At the very bottom of this blog are my previous blogs on this LFS.
Plan on spending some time here as you will want to look at all the tanks. The fish are in the back. All the usual fairs are in stock, along with the occasional rare fish. All the tanks are clean, and the fish appear healthy. If you are into Saltwater tanks then you probably already know about this store, so I suspect the newbies and aquarists new to the city will find this blog the most helpful. I for one, like to see things and this is why I provide extensive photos instead of a lengthy blog. Go check out Aquatic Art for yourself and you’ll know what I speak of. It’s worth visiting even if you’re not into saltwater set-ups. If I was in the market for corals, I would make this store my first visit.
