Aqua Culture, 10336 Dransfeldt Rd UNIT 8, Parker, CO 80134, has struggled in the past and today is no different. They once again did some remodeling in the front entry space by shifting to freshwater in the big display tank and adding a wall of tanks. The big tank had an arowana but it sold, so the plan is to bring in some nice Koi. The giant 14k gallon tank in the back crashed so there will be Koi in there for the summer also with the help of Rocky Mountain Koi Club. Later, it will house a trio of sharks. The store is a family oriented operation so I suspect it will always be shifting to demand. This is precisely what a businesses should do, to a point. The place is still not a show place, but the livestock seems happy and so does the owner. See the photos below, though my photos are not the best in the blue light. I forgot to grab my camera filter.

The wall of art on the left going into the back retail space remains and still livens the place up. The art is from Smokey Hill Art Club where they did an exhibit. I love the vibes this place has, and I think this is part of the reason. The community connection here is real. We are just coming off Reefstock 2025 and Aqua Culture was there with bells on.
The invert racks are looking great, as does all the salty tanks. The corals are popping and well cared for. It is tragic to loose the big tank, so condolences to Tariq and team. It is easy to tell they love their corals and fish. Pricing is very reasonable and the service top notch. With their attention to customer needs I am sure this LFS will be around for years to come. The addition of freshwater is a response to customer requests with closing of Neptune’s. This is another LFS welcoming the fish folks looking for alternatives.
