This last visit really impressed me. They got rid of the cumbersome front desk, did some remodeling, and while the nice display tank behind the counter is gone, Tariq did get the big 1400g shark, angel, & butterfly tank partially set up. It does have fish now, and will eventually get more awesome fish soon, just not the giant clam, whose name is Deloris. The place is finally arranged with the vision of the owner, Tariq. The wall of art going into the back retail space adds a sense of comfort to the place. The art is from Smokey Hill Art Club where they did an exhibit. I love the vibes this place has, and I think this is part of the reason. The community connection here is real.
The invert racks still need some work and there are a few other tanks which are coming along, but not in use yet. All in all, the place is basically put together and the selection of coral is good plus the fish look happy. I am sure the rest will fall into place soon. This is a LFS worthy of support!
