Another LFS Closure

We got some sad news today. Plant and Polyp is no more. I have copied the notice put out on Facebook below, be sure to read it for details. During my recent visit Colin said things were slow, just not this slow. I wish him the very best on his next adventure. I and many others will miss this wonderful LFS.

“Hello everyone. Today I have to make a post I was hoping I wouldn't have to.

Plant and Polyp will be closing permanently on Sunday July 24th. This shop has been a dream come true for me, but dreams don't pay the bills and I have to put my family first.

There is a bright side! From now until Sunday, everything in the shop is on clearance at 50% off. Certain items are marked down even lower. All of the tanks and systems are for sale as well. Now is your chance for the best deals on livestock and equipment ever, and you get to keep a little piece of this place for yourself.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone that made this incredible journey happen, including my fantastic employees Evan and Lucas, my former employees Natalie and Brayden, my amazing partner Jules, my parents, Nick, Kevin, Mahendra, Felipe and Melissa, and Robert and Rachel. And most of all I want to thank you, the person reading this, for being amazing and helping to build the Colorado Springs aquarium hobby up to where it is now.

If you find yourself needing advice or help with the hobby in the future, please add me on my personal (FB) account, @Colin Webb, and I will always be there to answer your questions and help with what I can.

I am so excited for what the future holds for all of us and can't wait to share it with you. Thank you, we love you all.” Colin Webb

Stay tuned for more LFS info and reviews. I will be going to the Western Slope in the next few weeks and will have those reviews soon thereafter.
